Retained recruitment offers a more advanced, intensive recruitment service than our contingency model to ensure a full and thorough talent sourcing approach is completed. It is typically used for strategically important roles to fill positions up to senior management or board level.
Securing business critical talent
It generally involves deploying more resources than would be the case for contingency hires and is recognised as a very effective way of identifying and securing business critical talent.
SRGEurope are focused on the delivery of the right talent for our clients, and our retained approach allows us to be certain all potential candidates for any role, both active and passive, will have been considered. The retainer allows us to commit more resources to the search for longer, to ensure this is the case.
Under our retained recruitment agreement, the balance of the fees (75%) will only be payable on achieving a successful conclusion to the project. This is testament to the confidence we have in our ability to deliver the desired outcome. As with all recruitment at SRGEurope, the process is personalised to meet your specific objectives. These are identified and agreed through a detailed consultative process undertaken at the outset.
Once the terms of the assignment have been defined we produce a detailed project document outlining scope and objectives, fee structure and responsibilities of both parties.
A senior manager is designated to the client for the duration of the assignment. Once a shortlist is determined SRGEurope will work closely with you to arrange and support client-side interviews.
The standard fee structure for a retained assignment is based on 25% of the fee being paid on acceptance of client instructions. The balance of the fee is only paid on the successful completion of the project with the candidate(s) formerly accepting an offer of employment.
We expect to complete every assignment
For retained search we expect to complete every assignment we undertake in budget and on time. A typical retained recruitment exercise is completed within 90 days.
