Web Designer Ref: 11368

SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit a Web Designer to work with an award winning Online Gaming provider with significant continued expansion plans. This is a visual creative role and an online portfolio is a necessity to give the Creative Manager an indication of your personal ability.

The company is looking for a confident friendly and driven person to complement the enthusiastic and happy team, with a commitment to deliver the high quality work and services in a prompt and efficient manner.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Be in close contact with the creative design manage and the studio design manager

  • Manage all completed work – ensuring all work is error-free, meets the brief and is up to the company standards

  • Designing concepts, mock-ups and specs based on briefs and creative direction

  • Implementation and maintenance of those mock-ups from conception to creation

  • Dealing with online flash web pages, flash banners and applications, microsites etc,

  • Helping with marketing promotional campaigns

At time deal with website updates and brand reinforcement

Candidate Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years based in a commercial web environment

  • Strong knowledge of Creative Suite

  • Strong experience with software such as;

  • Photoshop, Illustrator

  • Flash

  • HTML5, CSS, jQuery

  • Portfolio displaying design processes and execution of concepts

  • Passionate, friendly and adaptable individual with a strong communication skills

  • Self motivated with ability to be responsible for and hit deadlines alone and a team player with overall view of the company goals and ambitions

Beneficial Skills

  • Educated to degree level

  • Firm understanding of design, layout, colour theory and typography

  • Previous experience working in the Online Gaming Industry

  • Good understanding of PHP / ActionScript / JavaScript
