SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit a Flash Developer with strong knowledge in ActionScript 3 (AS3). The company is an award winning Online Gaming provider with continued expansion plans and is looking to recruit a developer in Flash to the already strong team.

The company is looking for a confident friendly and driven person to complement the enthusiastic and happy team, with a commitment to deliver the high quality work and services in a prompt and efficient manner.

Candidate Responsibilities

• Design and build software solutions to meet the design specifications of a new project

• Be involved with the design and development of a new product from the ground up

• Deliver state of the are technology solutions in flash ActionScript AS3

• Work closely with designers to specify asset production that seamlessly integrate into the overall solution.

• Work with a close knit group to find creative solutions to business needs.

• Anticipate requirements, and build software in a flexible, scalable way.

• Connect with a range of databases / socket servers / 3^rd party objects.

• Meeting internal quality, commenting and documentation requirements

• Under the guidance of the lead developer learn all aspects of the system.

• A willingness to learn about all aspects of the gaming industry.

• Not just be a developer, but be an essential part of our creative team.

Candidate Skills

• Extensive Flash AS3 experience.

• Fluency in written and verbal English

• Ability to work as part of a team (but take individual ownership and responsibility)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (articulate, friendly and polite)

• Demonstrate a calm manner and an ability to handle difficult situations

• Ability to work on own initiative.

• Ability to work independently

• Ideally some gaming related industry knowledge and experience

Beneficial Skills

• PHP web programming experience,

• HTML / CSS / Javascript / Jquery

• ActionScript CS2

• Experience connecting with Sockets and HTTP servers

• Ability to find creative solutions and make them happen.

• Chat Server / FMS experience
