Head of Payments Ref: 11425

SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit a Head of Payments for a leading Financial Services business in Gibraltar. As Head of Payments, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with external partners, banks and payment solution providers. You will work with the product and technology team to optimise payment flows, coordinate payment integrations, minimize payment costs, and generate analysis and reports. You will report directly to the COO and requires extensive travel.

Head of Payments Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining an international network of payment solution providers and banks

• Maintaining relationship with payment solutions providers and banks

• Implementation of new payment solutions

• Working with the product and technology teams to improve over all user experience to increase payment conversion

• Working with the risk team on anti-fraud strategies for various payment solutions.

• Generating reports and analysis on the payments process

• Minimizing and negotiating payment costs with the payment solution providers and banks

Head of Payments Profile:

• Bachelors or equivalent degree (MBA/ Master’s degree is a plus)

• At least 8-10 years online payment experience

• Extensive knowledge of e-commerce and online business procedures, with a focus on user experience

• Management experience with proven ability to motivate others

• Strong negotiation skills

• Professional, proactive, and positive attitude

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal with other European languages an asset

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
