SRGEurope Team

When we formed SRGEurope we had to confront the reality that the world probably already had enough recruitment agencies. What was the point of one more? Could we make a difference, let alone a profit?

The usual core values of an ethical agency including honesty, commitment and transparency were quickly embraced. Add to those, a decision to recruit only in those areas where we had the expertise to add value to the recruitment process and to be early adopters of new technology, in particular around social media assets, and SRGEurope as we know it today was already starting to take shape.

Our staff are our most valuable asset

One other significant decision taken at the very outset was to always treat our staff as our most valuable asset. We figured if we were going to break through - and go on to survive and prosper - we needed to build a team of recruitment champions: people who would really care about the recruitment outcome and how it is achieved.

Looking back, this was a defining moment. We made a conscious decision to operate as a meritocracy - one which would recognise and reward excellence - and that's exactly what we have done. We meet our obligation in many ways, not least by giving a large percentage of our turnover back to our employees to ensure they benefit from industry leading remuneration packages. They also benefit from a potentially life defining career experience working with committed Managers and Directors who lead by example and are fee generating.

Not fazed by difficult assignments

As a result of these policies, SRGEurope is built on solid foundations, with a loyal team of highly dedicated, highly motivated, talented recruitment consultants and support staff driving the business forward. They have an in-depth knowledge of their respective market sectors and they use specialist knowledge, social networking strategies and a comprehensive network of contacts and connections to source the best and brightest talent to work in our client's businesses. They are not fazed by difficult assignments, as they regard them as an opportunity to demonstrate their ability.

In terms of evolution, SRGEurope is only at the end of the beginning, and we are happy with our progress to date. We have clients who appreciate what we do and candidates who trust us to match them with the best roles working for the best companies. In the coming years, we look forward to building the company we thought it could be at the outset: but we do so in the full knowledge that everything we achieve will be because of the people who work in our business.
